Prosperity can mean many things to many people– amassing of material things, fame, the passing on of a legacy. I believe that true prosperity involves the well-being of those around us as well as the planet we inhabit. When we live our lives in a way that respects the personal prosperity of others, and fulfills our role as caretakers of this beautiful earth, then we have achieved true prosperity.

Prosperity is a state of mind. If you can be appreciative of what you have, be thankful every day for what you have, you can be prosperous. It is not always easy in this society of “things” and “want”. It is easier to focus on what you don’t have. I was in a checkout line yesterday, full of the usual holiday hurry and scurry and aggrivated over having to spend even more money on Christmas, when I saw a little girl leaving the store. She appeared to be 8 or 9 and was accompanied by an adult (relative, I would guess). She was also wearing oxygen. She was as thin as a rail. the first thing that came to my mind was Cystic Fibrosis. I don’t know for sure if that was what she struggles with, but that is what came to mind. I immediately thanked God for all that I have, and thanked God for giving her another day, and for giving her family another day with her. I remembered that it’s not things that make us wealthy and prosperous, but people and what we do with the time we have with them.
On that note, I am off to attemtp to make Sugarplums for the first time, just because my 6 year old niece wants to try them.

Prosperity, the chance to be fullfilled in love and life. To me prosperity is knowing that you have family and friends that you can count on and that they can count on you in return. In the holiday season it is about being able to get together with family, not the presents that you get.

Prosperity is the heightened awareness of ourselves. It is when we know who we are and love everything about our existence. I believe Prosperity can be gained when we exude and share our positive energy with the rest of the universe, by being in love with life and content with what we have.

Prosperity. I listen to the word and what it brings to my mind. The word Growth comes up. When I grow, or expand, in some way or the other, I draw to me more of what I want and desire… It is not connected to materialism itself, but as I grow as a person, in spirit, mind or emotion, I let myself recieve whatever makes me prosper in joy!

Prosperity means the condition of being successful or thriving; especially : economic well-being. But more importantly prosperity does not need to be about material things. You can prosper in the blessings that God has given us to thrive. And I am thankful each day for those!
