- Cosmetic Database This is where you go to find out the hazard score of your skincare products. Although you won’t find every product on here, they cover a huge range. Their rating system is a little over-zealous in some cases, so use it as a rough guide.
- Crazy Sexy Life I love Kris Carr’s website. She has authored 2 fantastic books, including “Crazy Sexy Cancer Tips” and is the subject of her documentary, “Crazy Sexy Life”. Her website is informative and fab.
- Ecostilletto This site dishes out daily eco-friendly fashion, beauty, lifestyle and celebrity advice that can help shrink your carbon footprint from a ginormous boot into an oh-so-slender stiletto.
- Etsy I can waste hours and hours, browsing this incredible online store, where anyone and everyone can set up shop. So many people have launched successful businesses on Etsy and if I’m ever looking for something unusual, this is my first port of call.
- Fab and Fru Recently launched, this fantastic website gives plenty of tips for frugal, yet fabulous living.
- Girlie Girl Army Founder Chloe Joe Berman is a vegan and animal rights activist, who has created this “glamazon” go-to site for all things hip, urban and glam that relate to Green.
- Good Guide The Good Guide has a great rating system (is it safe, green etc), for everyday products from food to cosmetics.
- Grist.org For slightly more serious and in-depth commentary on everything Green, Grist is a great place to go for some intelligent food for thought.
- HealthyBitchDaily Brain child of co-founder of Skinny Bitch sends you a daily tid bit geared towards social change – very nice!
- Hip Moms Go Green This site is dedicated to proving that going green and making a positive impact on the environment needn’t be a chore! Sound familiar?
- MyGloss Founded by my wonderful friend and original founder of Momlogic, Lolita Carrico has created a fabulous magazine-style website for all things glossy.
- Orglamic Discriminating eco-shoppers turn to orglamic, the popular online resource for “sustainable luxury living.”
- Tree Hugger This is the go-to site for everything that’s seriously green. It’s definitely worth a weekly check-in.

- Green Patriot Love this radio show, which discusses everything green and has stellar guests!
- Living on Earth Living On Earth podcasts are really worth listening to if you want to hear intelligent discussion about our changing environment.
- NPR's The Environment I always download a few of these informative podcasts before taking a long trip. Journalism at it’s best.
- Tree Hugger Radio Treehugger radio always has super-interesting podcasts.
Movies
- Food, Inc. As they saw in their promo: “You’ll never look at dinner the same way”. A brilliant, and disturbing movie about the current food system in the U.S.
- The Cove I’m so happy that this thriller/documentary won the 2010 Oscar for best documentary. It uncovers the terrible slaughter or thousand of dolphins in Japan. You’ll never want to go to Sea World again.
- The Real Dirt on Farmer John A fascinating documentary on the epic life story of a colorful maverick, who happens to be a passionate organic farmer.
