OMG GUILT-FREE TREAT!
February 3rd, 2011 by Sophie

This blog/vlog is all about sugar! We’re coming up close to Valentine’s and as far as I’m concerned why not have a treat or two that actually makes you feel good instead of awful. My daughter has a little friend who goes nuts when she comes over for a play date because her mom forbids her to eat sugar at home. I find them standing on the counter rummaging through the cupboards for anything that could be Read the rest of this entry »

GROW GIRL GROW!
January 29th, 2011 by Sophie

YouTube Preview ImageI’m putting out the “Grow Girl” challenge this year. I know it’s still early on in the year for most of you that live in cooler regions, but it’s never too early to start planning and perhaps thinking about how and where you’re going to plant your veggies this year. HAVE A LIVING CHRISTMAS
December 15th, 2010 by Sophie

.YouTube Preview ImageOur living Christmas Tree arrived today – Good old “Lydia” was wheeled in by two of Santa’s elves from The Living Christmas Company. I love these guys because they make it possible for me to enjoy a tree, without cutting one down. We rented our tree (my daughter named her Lydia, and told me not to tell anyone as it’s “totally embarrassing”!) last year. When Lydia was undressed, instead of hacking her up for mulch, The Living Christmas dudes came back, picked her up and promised to bring her back a few inches taller next year
