To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month, I’m excited to announce my brand new series of live Twitter chats, where we’ll be discussing everything related to health & beauty. So excited! One of my favorite activities is to chat “beauty” and I love that because of technology, women can now get together from all corners of the globe and discuss the one thing we all have in common: the love of looking & feeling gorgeous!
I call it “healthy” beauty chat because I believe that we should all use beauty products that are healthy for our bodies and for the planet. Fortunately, the tide has turned since I wrote my first book, Gorgeously Green, 5 years ago – there are now more fabulous healthy beauty products on the market than ever before – super exciting.
I’m bursting with all kinds of information I want to share with you about new trends, products, ideas, studies and much, much more. Each week we will be randomly giving away prizes to those who participate – this means that you might well get a direct message during the party, asking for your mailing address.Today the prizes will be from Avalon Organics. For example: Hi Sophie, what cleansers do u think work best for eye make up?#healthybeauty. By adding #healthybeauty, everyone in the “chat” will get your tweets and when they add the hash tag, you will get theirs. If that’s not crystal clear, leave a comment below and I’ll get back to you asap.
Tip: If you are a regular tweeter, you may already use Hootsuite or Tweetdeck. If you don’t, I highly recommend setting up a Hootsuite account, which makes twitter parties and live chats really easy. It’s also a great way to manage your tweet and FB feeds.
