My dogs Phoebe (pictured below,) and Lucky are so thrilled with their new Eco Mats. These ingenious “Eco Naps,” are made by West Paw ( a firm favorite,) feel like cashmere and are pretty fetching too! Each mat helped divert over 4.03 million plastic bottles from landfills – YES, they are made from plastic bottles.
They are the perfect scatter mat. I have the two dog beds, which I really don’t want to have to move around the house all day long – which I sometimes do because the dogs want to be wherever I am. So now I can throw their Eco Naps down in the office, kitchen or wherever, and they are as happy as can be.
Some people also like to roll them up to take with them if they’re going out to a restaurant with an outside patio. I know this is LA and pampered pooches here might prefer a soft fuzzy mat to the sidewalk – or perhaps their owners do. Anyway, it’s clearly a trend, because I see these little mats frequently outside some of the fanciest restaurants in town. Not sure my husband would love me whipping these out while dining, but my dogs are so misbehaved that they’re never invited anyway!
Phoebe is sitting on a Size M mat, so if you have a tiny dog, you might want to go for the S, and obviously go way up in size for a bigger guy.
